Kemo Sabe Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 It took me some looking to see if this was compatible with Vista and it seems that it is. While recording my first CD from an iso in Vista I decided to take a screenshot and share for any who might want to see.
blutach Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Looks like shit. Bigger max, min bixes and solid lines. Big deal! M$ won't be getting my $$$. Regards
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 It's actually pretty sweet/cool Blu. As with most things, it just takes a bit of getting used to.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Hmm.... I dunno. I'm with Blu here. But I still don't like the look of XP either. It's like hitting yourself between the eyes with a hammer, no matter how much you persist with it I don't think you ever get used to it.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Ah well I'm one of these people who can't stand the super basic look of Windows 2000 (or XP without themes) etc any more. Eye candy is good in my book I just don't like programs that go way OTT with skinning and crappy colours!
blutach Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I'm all for XP. It's got a nice look and feel - better than 98/2000 etc I agree. But how much do I gotta pay for something that ain't broke? I have never had a BSOD with XP. My view: Same shit. Different package. Higher price. But each to his own, of course Regards
cornholio7 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 thanks to Kemo Sabe for taking the time to confirm it is working for him on Vista
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I've even tested it in the post RC1 build of Vista... still works
