LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Try cleaning the drive or get yourself another one.
burrnbabyburn Posted July 6, 2017 Author Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) Thankyou. I found a youtube video on how to remove and clean the laser, I done that and it sucessfully burned a disc, I then tried it again and got the same error? Do you think its a fault drive /firmware or overheating as i tried another dual layer straight after? Thanks Edited July 6, 2017 by burrnbabyburn
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Every drive should be able to burn MKM-003-00 at 4x without an issue really. I'd therefore say it's a drive problem. You could try enabling the 'Perform OPC Before Write' option in the settings, but it might not make a difference. (sometimes it helps, sometimes it makes things worse)

(sometimes it helps, sometimes it makes things worse) The 'Perform OPC Before Write' has worked! 5 Successful copies. Thank you so much!
