Stefanbrun Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Hi There, we want to Archive a Bunch of "bd-re xl 100GB" with a VinpowerDigital Auto Loader. The Problem is, the Format of the BD Disks are Multi-Track. see File Attached for the error message. can i use the Build mode as suggested with the Auto Loader? Thx Stefan
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 No, build mode won't really work with the autoloader... not how you want/need it to anyway. Can you go into Read mode when one of those discs is in the drive and then copy + paste all of the disc info from the box on the right into a reply please?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Ok, try going into Tools -> Settings -> Read -> Page 2 and change the value of Disc Layout Method -> Blu-ray to 1-3-2 or 3-1-2. It may then ignore the fact it has multiple tracks and just go by the TOC / Disc Capacity. Once you've made your first ISO, it'll probably be worth mounting it in a virtual drive and doing a file level comparison of everything on the disc to make sure it all works correctly. Once you've done that and are happy with the results, go ahead and process all of the discs using the autoloader.
Stefanbrun Posted March 2, 2022 Author Posted March 2, 2022 (edited) Ok with 3-1-2 it starts. will check the disk output vs live disk Edited March 2, 2022 by Stefanbrun

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 What do you want to happen in such situations? There are several setting that can be adjusted to make the program / drive behave differently when it comes across bad sectors.
Stefanbrun Posted March 3, 2022 Author Posted March 3, 2022 As you said, i hope to find these settings. If you can give me some tips?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 You haven’t told me what you want it to do. The options can mostly be found in Tools -> Settings -> Read
Stefanbrun Posted March 3, 2022 Author Posted March 3, 2022 (edited) i want to read the disk. We have a stack of 20 Disks and on some we receive this error: after this error, the entire process pauses. So im looking for a setting, for better correction or going further without a I/O Error message or should i read slower? (because of the massive amount of disks). This 20 Disks are the first batch of 200+ Disks. Edited March 3, 2022 by Stefanbrun
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Goto Tools -> Settings -> Read -> Page 1. On there you should see the 'Read Errors' groupbox. Change 'Software Retries' to a lower number (1 or whatever) and then tick the 'Ignore Read Errors' box. Your drive will probably slow itself down if it hits a problem area on the disc.
