Error while trying to Overburn - "Invalid Field in Parameter"

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

JUST FOUND OUT THAT ONLY +R MEDIA CAN BE OVERBURNED. PLEASE DISREGARD.

Whenever I try to overburn, I always receive an "Invalid Field in Parameter" error. I have also tried burning the same compilation on Nero 6.6.0.16 Ultra and receive the same error. I have tested the media using CDSpeed and it was rated of being capable of an overburn of up to 4596MB. The DVD has a rated capacity of 4489MB and I was trying to burn 4548MB. I have also tried overburning less at 4518MB but it still fails.

I am using a Benq DW1650 (BCDC) burning onto a TYG03 with SolidBurn and OverBurn disabled. I have also tried turning WOPC on and off and still get the same result. Anybody have an idea as to what the problem may be?

I 01:18:59 Test Mode: Yes

with test mode enabled you wont be writing anything to the disc you're just simulating the burn, if you want to write to the disc turn test mode off (test mode =no ) BTW IMGburn works just fine on Default settings and in my opinion overburning is never a good idea
