thollian
I just bought a 50 pack of Sony DVD-R's at Best Buy because they are on sale, and noticed they have this thin white line going around the center of them, is this normal? If it is normal, what is it used for? why don't +R's have them. Thanks. None of my DVD+R's have them, which is what I normally buy. Here is an example picture of what I am talking about. polopony
dont have a clue ,I've never seen anything like it ,Sony discs are very hit and miss with different drives we only reccommend Verbatim and Yudens its all I use and haven't made a coaster in years sometimes a sale of so so media turns out to be pretty expensive . when you burn a few could you come back and post a log so we can see whats up with them
Altercuno
Perhaps when they were making them they temporarily run out of dye...
dontasciime
Idiots. That is an Olympic Size running track for Disc mites. Btw all my -r disc's have this no matter what brand. My dvd+r have a similar ring just not in same place, I always pressumed this was maybe the Power Calibration Area.
