d-loc Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 So, I thought that I would have better luck with this program, because I had still been using DVD Decrypter. I am having the same kind of problems with both programs. I am using good Sony discs. I am waiting for tech support to get back to me, because I can't find anything out about firmware upgrades for my pioneer drive. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? In the past I have had similar problems when just using DVD Decrypter, and after one or two coasters the rest would be fine. In the last two days I have made three coasters and seven discs that still have to be tested because they are the ones that got stuck at 99%. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. I guess WOPC must have been working overtime - suggesting you were getting a low quality burn and then eventually it just failed. Slow the burn down to 8x and try again. EDIT: doh! (LBA: 0 - 2213086)W 11:24:02 Failed to Write Sectors 2109056 - 2109087 - Write Error W 11:24:02 Retrying (1 of 20)... looks like it made it 96% of the way in 13 minutes before it totally dropped the ball since you were writting at max I wonder if that 16x was faster than the drive and blank could manage is the drive getting worn out? is the power supply overloaded(noticed the drive letter L)? even with better media like verbatim, burning at max might be an iffy proposition, what's the hurry?
