stphnhwks
I've had no trouble with this before today, but have tried 7 or 8 times today with no success. I use Verbatim media, so I'm sure that's not the problem and I have tried various speeds, all resulting in failure! I use Nero to create the img file before using ImgBurn to write it. Below is my log. Thanks to anyone that can help. I 19:48:44 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! Even if you haven't, go to Tools/Settings, click the Defaults button then confirm. Also have a look at this thread from the FAQ about DMA issues, as your burning speed is too slow. blutach
That write rate is not supported by the drive/media. Also check for firmware updates. That media is rated 16x and LG drives know it. In fact, that firmware is not listed. Try 1.02 here. Regards

blutach
Well, those MCC004s should be recognised at 16x Chewy. Regards
chewy
http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...mp;hl=GWA-4166B might help to reflash and look at the filter driver load order?

stphnhwks
If you can't find a firmware update, clean the drive or buy yourself a new one. The burner works fine when I'm writing CD's though, that's why I can't figure out the problem.
