I installed a new DVD burner Because my old one died Its the same dell model that was in my pc before But now when I burn a movie it plays great on my pc but wont play on my DVD player. volvofl10 Posted October 15, 2007 Share Posted October 15, 2007 The disks are the same ones I used before my dvd burner broke and they worked on my dvd player, Can you confirm that the ink/dye code hasn't been changed by the manufacturer ?( not obvious untill you check what the media ID is) the majority of modern ( recent few years) dvd players will play -R media ,so you need to eliminate the basics first , go with what Chewy said, and try some decent 8x -R media ( Taiyo yuden or verbatim), see what happens with that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
