I get 50-80% through, then get the error posted below. Updated firmware this morning, and uninstalled controller (thereby re-installing it) to no avail. Below the error message, I've included the log file, as well as the filter driver load order. One other note for background, I began using ImgBurn because of troubles with Encore. Received the Sense Code Error. I've tried burning at half speed (8x), but that hasn't worked well either. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 They don't kill hardware, they could just corrupt the data path. Try some other discs - perhaps some DVD-R Taiyo Yuden ones, or DVD+R Verbatims. You might have more luck. If they all fail, try cleaning the drive. And after that, think about replacing it.
