volvofl10
sounds like the .dvd file was not in the same parent folder as the main files
ChairPotato
sounds like the .dvd file was not in the same parent folder as the main files I have the same "cannot find the file specified" problem. Both the.iso and a .dvd file in the same folder. The dir shown in the error message is correct. What's the purpose of the .dvd file anyway? When I used to rip with DVD Decrypter it didn't create one. LOCOENG
It contains all the important information telling the program how to burn your disc...such as the layer break etc.
mmalves
Open the .dvd file with Notepad and check if the filename in there matches the file on your hard disk.
ChairPotato
Open the .dvd file with Notepad and check if the filename in there matches the file on your hard disk. Thanks, I tried that and just to be sure I copy/pasted the file name but I get the same error.

ChairPotato
What's the exact error? Copy + paste the entire contents of the .DVD file. The .dvd file: MediaType=DVD LayerBreak=2067792 40_YEAR_OLD_VIRGIN.iso
cornholio7
why have you got a dvd file for a film and not an .mds file
LIGHTNING UK!
Ok so delete the 'MediaType' line.
ChairPotato
Ok so delete the 'MediaType' line. Thanks, that worked. I'm curious about .mds and .dvd files too. Is there an FAQ about them somewhere?
