fredcsmith
Hi, I am looking for a freeware alternative to Nero for "shrinking" DVDs. Is DVD Shrink up-to-date? Or, is there another DVD shrinking software that Imgburn recommends? Fred

LOCOENG
DVD2One isn't free but it has a trial to see if it's worth buying.
blutach
If you have a ripped DVD (and there are free rippers out there), DVD Shrink is fine. Regards

eSkRo
the guy that created DVD SHRINK got hired to work on NERO RECODE just as long as he stops working on DVD SHRINK.... and thats what he did... DVD SHRINK still works of course, but it isn't updated anymore... So you can say that the new DVD SHRINK is NERO RECODE since its the same guy that works on it! But of course, NERO RECODE is not free... anyways, if you want a freeware -> use DVD SHRINK! Edited November 1, 2008 by eSkRo

I always get a laugh about when people state as fact, unconfirmed things about other people's lives whom they have never met or talked to. @eSkRo, unless you know dvdshrink (the person), I wouldn't be so dogmatic about this.
