ilyapopsa Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 I have some iso that i would like 2 burn to a dvd dl disc with layer breaks. I downloaded imgburn and when i open it up it says on the buttom "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present=Tray Closed) I have a fairly new dvd burner that defiantly burns dvd's and burn dl dvd's too. I thought maybe that my dvd burner went bad so i went 2 best buy and baught the best dvd buner that i made sure burns dual layered discs. I put it in and turned on imgburn and the same error on buttom appeared. Im using Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5gb 2.4x speed discs. I dont know why the error keeps appearing. I need help!!!! volvofl10 Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 have you tried any other discs in it, like dv5 single layers and CD's ? could be you need to update your firmware on the drive. the message is telling you it does not like the discs your using, as it does not recognise them.
