Max Format Capacity showing only half the DVD+RW capacity

Hi, I searched the forums but couldn't seem to find anything similr to this, so here goes -

As you can see, for some reason ImgBurn shows a Max Format Cap of about half the actual 4.7GB capacity of the disc. Have wasted a couple of discs trying to burn larger images and failing as well. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem

Have you tried:

 

1. Looking for a firmware update? Perhgaps your drive doesn't like those (rather lousy) discs.

2. Getting better discs - we only recommend Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim media.

Could you post the log from a failed burn? You can find the logs at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs.
