yes it was the same packet i am half way through they did work preiously. i have updated to windows 7 since, do you think that would affect it?

the first one i set 2.4x and it corrected it to 4x, i tried 6x and 8x aswell.

You already have the latest firmware for your burner, so that's one option you can scratch. ok thanks i shall take note of that list. do you know what exactly the "Session Fixation Error Writing Lead Out" means, like why it would have that error and what that corresponds to, or is it just a random error? thanks again pete

i appreciate you taking the time to respond, thanks. However i already read that post, i make a habit of checking stickies etc before posting new posts that are already answered. without sounding rude, all that post tells me is that basically that a lot of imgburn problems are down to the quality of the disk, which would not explain why imgburn has only started to show this error recently and not when i used the same disks from the same batch and successfully burnt backups preiviously. As i said i appreciate the response and if you mean to say that this error is common and certainly due to the disk quality then i shall have to try some verbatims or similar, or are you simply saying that you do not know what the problem is in this instance, but buying some new disks is worth a try? Hi, i have burnt many DL 360 backups with img burn using aone disks in the past but have not done so in a few months. I have just attempted to burn the last few days and have had the same error repeatedly, and i know it is not the image i am burning because i have tried different images and the same error occurs at 94% of finalising the disk. I am unsure of what the problem is as it has always burnt fine in the past. I have the latest firware for my drive btw, and i have tried burning at 2.4x and 4x and 8x all to no avail. any help appreciated.
