Media is crap... Try Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore), Ritek started to go downhill a while back and hasn'[t recovered yet. Thanks you. I've never seen TY in stores around here but I'm pretty sure I saw Verbatrim. The ones that I'm using now I got on sale, it was a hundred pack for like 12 bucks, couldn't pass it up, but you get what you paid for huh? Why is it that sometimes I have no problems and sometimes I do?

I just got done burning one DVD no problem, I just tried another one and during the verifying it did this: Hitting retry didn't do anything. I've had similar problems with files that weren't too big though too. They only took up maybe 60% of the DVD+R

how do i go about doing that?

I use DVD shrink to back up my DVDs into Video_TS format and use ImgBurn to burn them. I haven't had problems before but the past 3 DVD's I've tried I've had problems. It gets to 99% and then I get this: I have a Matshita UJ-841s drive and I'm using TDK DVD+R discs. I've burned movies with about 6 of these discs so far with no problem.
