ImgBurn on Wine linux

Recommended Posts

I use ImgBurn on Linux with wine. And that works good.

After my last Linux install it could not longer find my device (dvd writer ).

ImgBurn I had no excess to  /dev/sg0.( before it used /dev/sr0 for cdrom and that worked).

So changing permission to /dev/sg0 solved the problem.

so on command line as root (or sudo)

# chmod 666 /dev/sg0

or if you are a member from the group cdrom than you can use the next line.

# chgrp cdrom /dev/sg0 | chmod 660 /dev/sg0

So I hope that I save you some time if you have the same problem.
