No, I can't start the burn off because it's reporting that the discs aren't empty, so it's not allowing me to start the burn.

I'm not all that computer savvy so I'm not really sure what you mean about updating the firmware...how do I go about that? The ImgBurn I have downloaded is ImgBurn v2.4.1.0.
