thanks i'll try changing the ASPI setting - it only fails on this particular game, i've tried two different images - i've burnt 5 other DL dvds today of other backed up games which worked fine.

I have burnt plenty of 360 backups without issue but for some reason when i try to burn left4dead it gives me a semaphore timeout error.
