    I/O error while verifying

That L633M is licensed to Compaq which aren't friendly to Memorex disks =( , am I even given the option to choose what drive to verify in?

    I/O error while verifying

If it happens again then use the Search feature of this board to find out what you can try in order to solve this problem. Thanks for the reply, The game still works, it only failed the verification, which I'm pretty sure isn't all that important at the moment cause this is my first I/O error in over 20 burns.
  4. So I was burning my DVD DL memorex disk maybe the 5th consecutive one ( The only one that got this error ) and about 10 seconds into it i got an I/O error, so i was like "wtf", canceled and tried re-burning on the same cd, to my surprise it finished burning and was verifying, when it was about done another I/O error came up, nothing I did worked so these are the logs: ( BTW I used the USB drive to burn all the previous successful disks I 19:38:27 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! 6. Burner Is this burner good for burning xbox 360 games? Will it also be recognizable by IMGBURN? Also, I have memorex disks which are not compatible with my laptop ( compaq fails ) will I have any problems with this drive? If this isn't all that great can you recommend a few for me? Thanks Ceo

    Help with burning DVD+DL

The drive is licensed to Compaq and that company makes their own firmware. Did you try any other speeds? Why not use SPTI? I did use that when i was writing at 2x speed, i youtubed and they said to use the Patin-Couffin, so i did it with 2.4x speed, it also didnt work. After contacting Compaq, they said that memorex DVDs are not compatible with their burners.. =( My friends burner is a Optiarc DVD RW AD-76405, would that work?

I tried that and it took me back to the link you gave me. ( Which still doesnt work ) Also by going to your advice i went to compaq got some more drivers i updated a few of them. If this doesn't work i guess I will find another computer to do it on, is the program compatible with Mac OS? Also will that "Change Book Type" do anything in this situation?

Thanks for all your help, I really do appreciate it, unfortunately my DVD drive doesn't.. Apparently "This firmware is not compatible with the selected drive. Contact your system manufacturer for more information on firmware updates available for this drive" I dont know why this is coming up because i know that this is the drive i have =/
