Greetings,
My plextor PX-712SA drive is reading discs (CDs / DVDs) fine. However, when I go to burn a DVD (not a CD) via ImgBurn I get the following: "Device Not Ready (Tracking Servo Failure)."
Error log:

Steps taken to hopefully resolve the issue:
* Upgrade the drives firmware to v1.09
* Upgraded STPD to see if it was the cause.
* Removed SPTD.
I've tried using both DVD-Rs and DVD+Rs. Neither seem to be picking up. Brands used: Maxell and Dynex.
Is my drive dead? Or do I possibly have a rootkit on my system not detected by Norton?
Sincerely,
Ice
