  1. In this shop they show the ID of the packs, it's helpful for identifying them by their looks for future purchases (click on the flag to change the language): https://www.nierle.com I got a pack (on Amazon) of Maxwell BD, 25GB 4X, and they are all burning well so I'll stick to them even if the burning speed is lower. These ones can be printed with inkjets but mine don't do that, so I guess I'll doodle on the white surface haha. Their ID is RITEK-BR2-000
  2. Have you ever tried MediaRange? If so, are they good? I just chatted with Amazon's customer service and they will give the money back, so I'll get another discs pack (from another seller) and pray hahaha
  3. Thanks! I live in Spain, mine were purchased on Amazon, but since it was some months ago I doubt I can get any refund... it's a pack of 25, of the ones I've used I got 2 correct burnings and 7 failures. I can't believe they sell sht like this... next time I'll try the ones you linked, or maybe another brand just in case...
  4. Hi Dbminter, thanks for your tips! I'm attaching two pictures, one of the writer and other of the discs. I bought both on Amazon, and I precisely choose Verbatim thinking it was a quality brand. As you can see on the picture, it only names Verbatim and on the back the warranty refers to www.verbatim.com . What brand do you recommend me? Is there a way to discern CMC discs from true Verbatim ones? Do you think that once written these discs can be trusted for keeping the data safely for a long time? Today I could finally burn a bluray. The hint about the USB port gave me an idea, my writer does have 2 plugs, one for the data that it's a 3.0 and a 2.0 for extra voltage. I had the 3.0 pluged in the right place, but when you said that, I wondered if having the other port connected was necessary and if it could be interferring, so I unplugged it and only used the 3.0 I also set the speed to 6x as it says on the discs instead of letting the program to adjust it just in case, and instead of writing the files directly on the disc, I created an image of the files and then used the "write image file to disc", and it did the trick. Thanks for your help, have a great day!
  5. The Bluray writer is new and I don't know if the problem is it, the discs, or what. I'm trying to burn data files on the discs, it starts writing and after a while it shows me this error (see attached image). I closed all the other programs, disabled the screen's option to turn off and didn't touch anything until the error occured. Writer: ODPS1203-SU3 (supposedly doesn't needs drivers).
