Burning Issues in ImgBurn

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Having an issue burning onto my DVD DL's. Before anyone says anything, I know verbatim is king. I just ran out and grabbed these FujiFilm's because I needed some urgently. I'm using FujiFilm DVD+R DL, and have successfully burnt 20 discs in the past. Now all of a sudden it doesn't work.

It makes no sense why I'm having problems now, when it was always fine in the past. I used to be on A302 firmware when I could burn fine. But as of yesterday when I tried these it was unable to set L0 at the very beginning. I then upped it to A306 and now I got a "Write Protected" error. Please see log below.

I think its probably your media. I can see your trying to burn your xbox 360 back ups.

What version of Imgburn are you using? This solution recently resolved my issue for me.... Try downgrading to 2.4.0

You can download it from file hippo. Just google for it.... Give it ago and see if you get any better results

Yes, of course it's your media - read the sticky about Verbatims.

And don't donwgrade - this is bad advice. Always ensure you have the latest version of ImgBurn.

ThreeSixty;

Just as a backup to what blu posted; please do not give this advice out anymore. Read the changelogs and understand that we do not support previous versions. All new version software is extensively checked and hundreds of burns are made before the Boss releases a new version. Before we can solve a problem they have to upgrade to the newest version and your advice just wastes time for all of us. :thumbup:
