So I've read the topics about using verbatim, and verbatim only. Well, I do, and have now got the same problem with 3 dvd's, all brand new out of the case, and three different .dvd files. I decided to try to update the firmware of my writer (Optiarc BD BC-5500S), but the flash failed.. every version! I really need some expert help, lol. Anyone? Any ideas? I tried to flash with every version from 1.04 through 1.06 and 1.77. I thought I'd break something, but actually, my last burn attempt worked! Used 4x speed. Is it necessary to verify disc?
