maaristi
Hi. I'm from South America. I've read a lot about DVD writters drives cause i have to buy one. I've seen that certain models of Pioneer and Optiarc are prefered. But here, in my city, i have a few options. LG - GSH22NS50 PIONEER - 218L LITE-ON - I don`t know wich models i can get here I read about pioneer because it is a well-known drive brand. But, according to what i've read, this model is not good as previous models (such as 217/216...). So. what's my best option?. Thank you in advance. Cynthia
The Pioneer is a joke so avoid that one.
maaristi
Would you prefer LG?. I read in a post written by ligthing UK that pioneer outsource that speficic model to Lite-On. So, would you say that my best option is LG? Thank you in advance. Note: I'm only interested in burning DVD-R (movies backup in DVD5). Cynthia
I've never owned an LG so I have no clue how they perform. I would find out what media code I'm going to burn and then check at MyCE to see scanning results with the combination of media and burner. Like this thread for the LG burner. http://club.myce.com/f91/lg-gh22ns50-lg-gh22ls50-311889/ http://club.myce.com/f91/lg-gsa-h22n-post-your-scans-questions-here-191607/
