Installer didn't had opencandy checkboxes to uncheck

Recommended Posts

I just used the installer from this location:

during installation I haven't seen the Opencandy Checkboxes I have to uncheck in order to accurately install ImgBurn. Like it's described here: https://www.jdhodges.com/blog/safe-version-imgburn-without-opencandy/

Is my PC still okay and not infected? I had to exclude the installer from antivirus because I was prepared for fighting against OpenCandy. Even with that the antivirus blocked three tries to run %localappdata%\Temp\nsm8B4E.tmp\Fusion.dll upon start of the installer.

Do the opencandy virus checkboxes only appear when Fusion.dll is accessible? Which was of course not and won't be anytime soon...
