W 18:38:56 Retry Failed - Invalid Address For Write this is the same method (apart from using dvd decrypter previously to burn after making the image) that i have used many times previously with no problems at all until this week when i have had a couple of problems basically getting the same message burner Philips dvd+ rw dvd8601 media Muller dvd + i have cleaned the dvds and drive tray any ideas thanks
volvofl10 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 UNfortunately, we cant/dont/wont discuss any form of backing up/ripping discs. this is due to legal reasons since the demise of DVDD. sorry

Flawless115 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 2babitch, I actually encountered a similar problem with my Philips 8631. Here's a link to the thread so you can see what I went through. Error burning image files with ImgBurn and CloneDVD I got my drive replaced by DELL with a Philips 8701. Once I got it, I was burning successfully again. For the hell of it, I cross-flashed it to a BenQ 1640, and it works fine. Just thought I'd provide some input seeing as how I had the same problem.
