mmalves Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Have you tried at 4x? Where are your Verbatim blanks made? It's written in the packaging/box/spindle. You may want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. There's also Windows 7 RC1 7100 available now
Ph3lony Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) they are made in singapore... i am recently aware that it was leaked although i think im just gonna wait for the Official one on the 5th just out of spite... anyone else having issues with win 7 and backing up 360 games my daughter likes to chew/walk on/ generally terrorize my collection and has already bested my copy of cod4 Edited April 26, 2009 by Ph3lony
mmalves Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 The error comes directly from the drive, so I really don't think it's related to Windows 7. I've been using it in both x32 and x64 flavours and it works fine Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner and it should work. You may also want to try burning at 4x. If all of this doesn't work then you'll have to look for a new burner.
Ph3lony Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 just tried burning at 1x 2.4x and 4x for FAil fail fail
Ph3lony Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 tried cleaning the drive by hand with a clean cloth for an additional fail... Oh well new burner time can anyone reccomend a good cheap burner that works good with DL do you think trying windows xp would be worth it... I heard alot of people griping about some service called imapi that you can disable in windows xp that fixes stuff right up
mmalves Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 You can try with XP if you want but my guess is that you'll get the same error
