kiru Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Hi - i've never had an ImgBurn problem till now, with 2.5.0.0. I am trying to burn a cd with a cue sheet i made with ImgBurn. Here is the log, with debug enabled - i've pastebin'd it since the log was so long: http://pastebin.ca/1529847 Thanks for any assistance on this - I did do a search but nothing suggested worked, including reinstall
mmalves Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 The SATA controller is in RAID mode, which can interfere with burners. Do you have/use RAID on your system? If not it would be better if you could set the controller to AHCI mode.
kiru Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) No, i do not use RAID - perhaps an issue with Win7 RC. Do you know if enabling AHCI would decrease the drives performance? edit: ok i did the registry fix [ http://www.ithinkdiff.com/how-to-enable-ah...r-installation/ ] from(3) to (0) but in BIOS there is no option to set AHCI, so still confused here Edited August 14, 2009 by kiru
mmalves Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Enabling AHCI won't decrease performance at all. Are you sure there's no option in the BIOS? What's the brand and model of your motherboard? Or at least it's chipset? You can use SIW to find out.
kiru Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Yeah i don't see an option, here's info from SIW Motherboard: Property Value Manufacturer ASUSTek Computer INC. mmalves Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Couldn't find win7 drivers for that chipset Which options do you have in the BIOS for the storage controller?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Can you copy + paste the contents of the CUE file for me please.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 See if you can burn a CD in Discovery mode with 'Test Mode' enabled. It could just be due to that short first track.

kiru Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 yeah looks like some tracks it is reading the time incorrectly that file is fine: File size : 4.92 MiB Duration : 3mn 13s Overall bit rate : 213 Kbps Album : Blast Tyrant Track name : Worm Drink Track name/Position : 7 Performer : Clutch so for some reason, when making the cue file, it is shifting mins to secs on some tracks....
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Any chance you could forward the problem tracks to the support email? (address is in the program's About box)
