Shazly Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 Tried 4x as write speed? I thought 4x speed won't work on xbox 360. Anyway I'll try 4X speed .. and thanks for the fast reply!
Shazly Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 Oh .. I searched the forums and found out that dvd dl burnt at 4x can be used on x360 too ... thanks for your help .. very much appreciated!!
mmalves Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 If 4x doesn't work, clean the burner's lens with a cotton bud and some alcohol or with one of those lens cleaning disc kits. Also, while you're at it, install service pack 2 for vista, or enable windows update and it'll be done automatically.
Shazly Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 sorry its a very stupid question .. but is it alright to burn a 2.4x verbatim with 4x writing speed?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Pioneer obviously think so or it wouldn't even be an option.
Shazly Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 =O ... i used 4x writing speed and it worked .. Thanks man You're a genius ... I cant believe it actually worked .. after wasting 17 disks for writing with 2.4 speed ... Thanks Guys!!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 17... wow! You only have to get like 3 of the same type of failures in a row before you just stop 'trying again' and should ask for advice/assistance. At least you didn't do it after 1 as that's pointless. 4x might have worked that time but that doesn't mean it'll continue to work. If it does fail then you should give the drive a clean as recommended above.
