BrightonAdam Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I'm trying to use ImgBurn from the command line to process a large number of DVDs in folders to be stored as ISOs on hard disk. Some of the DVDs are dual layer, and the problem I'm trying to overcome is the Layer Break window opening for these DVDs, requiring manual intervention. I understand from another post that there's no switch or option to do this, but that it may be possible by setting a large value for the single layer media profile. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I might do this? The images are not intended to ever be burned back to DVD. Thanks in advance for any help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Edit the value on the Advanced -> Media tab. Select 'Custom' for the single layer bit and enter a large number for 'maximum sectors' (perhaps copy it from the dl disc).
BrightonAdam Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 Thanks very much for the swift response (and the wonderful software.) I've just changed the setting and now I'm able to do just what I wanted
