LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 Have a go burning some MCC (typically Verbatim) or TY (Taiyo Yuden) discs instead. Basically your drive is having problems writing to (the outer edge?) of those discs. I believe your firmware is up-to-date so that only leaves 'try different media' on the 'things to do' list.
