Recently I noticed that whenever I open Imgburn, it stayed open for only about 5 seconds and then it shuts down by itself. Appreciate any help given. davmil Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 Ditto: It's Avast 7.0 free AV causing the problem. The red border is the giveaway. Open the interface, go to Additional Protection Tab, Then "Auto Sandbox." In Auto Sandbox, open settings and add imgburn to the exclusions list. While you're in there, I'd change the Auto Sandbox setting to "Ask" so that the AV program tells you when it's going to run something in the "sandbox" and you can mark good guys like Imgburn to the good guys list when first run.
