2.5.8.0 CD burning speed

Hello!

I discover this "bug" in new version, previous versions were OK. When burning CD-R or CD-RW burn speed is not shown correctly.

It is displayed correctly in kb/s, but not calculated good in terms of speed (x).

 

Here is screenshot, burning Verbatim CD-RW media at 24x.

I don't believe it's a bug in the program since that part of the code wasn't touched as far as I know.  Maybe your drive is dirty/just slowing down a little or maybe a dirty or hard to write to disc.   Your CPU is working a little harder with the second burn but the ramp up time is very similar.

Can't be a drive, because it happens with both drives

 

DVD and Blu-ray speeds are shown correctly.

Thanks for the report.

 

I'd taken to using an incorrect value as part of other changes and that value was wrong. It has been fixed for the next release.
