I 10:37:47 Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (6.0, Build 6000) I 10:37:47 Total Physical Memory: 3,404,772 KB - Available: 1,998,612 KB I 10:37:47 Initialising SPTI... 5. My DVD Burner burns single layers fine. However, when I go to burn a DL, I get a "Power Calibration Error" And it is unable to start the burn. I get the error before any burning starts. I thought at first it was the media, (had memorex) however I got verbs and same thing. I have tried nearly every disk in the spindle. I dont think it is the burner, because it worked with my other computer running XP, however this new computer is running Vista and it has had trouble burning DLs... The error is a popup that says I/O Error! Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4160B A306 (D:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: AC 14 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 Interpretation: Get Performance Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 10 AC 00 00 0E 30 05 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format Once again, these verbs worked fine when the drive was in my other comp, and the drive burns single layers fine... Any help would be appreciated!
  6. I used to have a older system with XP, and I recently built a new system now with Vista. Since putting the drive in my new system I keep getting coasters! It isnt the media, because it is the same brand media I had been using before, now I get like 1 success out of every 5-6 disks, DL or single layer. here is the error...which is W 20:22:29 Failed to Write Sectors 1941920 - 1941951 - Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32) sorry, the log is not loading...next coaster I will post the whole log. My drive is a HL-DL-GSA-4160B, and I just upgraded to the latest firmware...same error....DL or Single Layer...
