I did some research on the internet and found a website called digitalfaq.com and view the video media guides advice on which blank media to purchase. It was very well written and recommends 1st and 2nd class media of which Verbatim qualifies. It just happened that I had some at home so used my lightscribe dvd+r's and that solved my problem. After the copying was complete it automatically played on my computer and video and sound seem to be fine. I was using memorex because someone told me they were good but I've since changed my mind. Choose Pioneer, Panasonic, Sony or Verbatim as these are the best recommended DVD's.
