  1. Was the HDD, thanks for your help. It just started getting worse and worse, orphaned files, etc.
  2. Genious! It was the files, really odd how do a bunch of ISOs get corrupt on a HDD? I did have a brownout recently but one ISO that has been sitting on the drive for a while was recognized, yet the rest all added to the HDD recently do not get recognized. Going to look into why that would happen, I still get buffer probs and miscompares tho.. but discs work. Thanks a lot arrr! I 20:49:52 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started! 3. Its an ASUS P4PE, updated to the latest bios , the drive is on IDE 1 and the hdds on IDE 2, i know its backwards conventionally but never was a problem before, this system has stayed the same for 3+ yeras... the controller is coming up as Intel 82801DB Ultra ATA Controller.
  4. Ive only burned ISOs... I checked the ram and no problems.. the drive is on a seperate IDE channel then the HDDs, and ATAPI, Definition of: ATAPI drive Refers to a CD-ROM or tape drive that uses the ATA (IDE) interface. See ATAPI and IDE. what should they be coming up as?
  5. I have looked and searched and found information on each problem i can see i have with individual solutions but none have worked. This has happened just suddenly on a fresh install, the system is subject to few changes. I am using verbatim disks, the first 4 or 5 burns were ok then suddenly i can not burn successfully. My hdds are defraged, i dont have anything running out of the usual kaspersky and aim, smart has not detected any probs with the hdds. going to run a stress test and memtest now.. any suggestions are appreciated I 18:11:53 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started!
