  1. Your drive doesn't properly support those Verbatim DVD+R DL 8x rated blanks. You could try burning at 4x but it's doubtful that it would work. Try getting Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks, or if you can't/don't want to return/exchange your Verbatim 8x DVD+R DLs then you should get a new burner What exactly did you see in the log that indicated that my burner cant handle the media i was using?? I actually have another DL drive. ITs a Memorex 16 x DL. Is that any bettter?? thanks
  2. I have a toshiba sdr5372 with the most recent firmware update TU56. I tried nero and now imgburn and still not having any succss burning a dual layer movie I followed the instructions on http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1780 but got a error after about 1 minute into the process saying I/o Error Device:[0:0:0] Toshiba CD/DVDW SD-R5372 TU56 (E) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: check condition CDB 2A 00 00 00 03 80 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write(10) - Sectors:896-927 Sense ARea: 70 00 03 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Write Error See attached file.
