Well I do have DVD Flick also NeroVision Express which will do this but they take so long to burn a DVD. That's why I like ImageBurn so much, it only takes a short few minutes to burn and it even erases the disk if I need it. Thanks for your replies.

The only time I get this menu, which consists of a rectangle box which has "Please select media type for Playback" Video Music Picture Exit This might indeed be from my LiteOn DVD Writer/Player. I do notice that ImageBurn writes the xxxxx.avi files directly to the DVD and that in that format my LiteOn is the only Player I have found that will play this format. If I want to make a DVD for someone else's player I have to use another program that will make the .avi files int .vob files. Will ImageBurn do this?

The files are typically named XXXXXXX cd1.avi and XXXXXXXcd2.avi. I will however try changing the file system as you sugested. Thanks.

I would like to know how to burn a .avi movie to DVD without the menu coming up first.

Every time I try to burn two .avi file to a DVD it places them backwards on the disk. IE: cd2 comes out as track 1 and cd1 come out as track 2. I would like to combine these two files into one or figure a way to have them burned correctly.

I have a particullar .avi file I downloaded from the net and it plays ok using Nero Showtime or DivX Player. However when I burn it to a DVD useing either Imgburn or DivX Player or DVD Flick the sound is out of sync by as much as a full second or two. Does anybody have any ideas as to the cause of this and how to remedy it?

imageburn will burn .avi files. I do it all the time. It first makes a .iso file and then if you want it will burn it to DVD.
