  1. The new beta version has worked perfectly doing everything I have tried so far (CD's only, no DVD's yet). Thank you, thank you. I'll be sending you a donation. Paul in San Francisco
  2. The beta version of imgburn works perfectly on everything I have tried so far. In particular, it reads store-bought CD's, CD+r's and even CD+rw's on both my disc drives. It writes as expected. I have not tried anything with DVD's as yet. Thank you for this assistance and for the imgburn program, which I have shamelessly used for free for years. I'll be sending you a small gift as soon as I figure out how to work paypal. Paul in San Francisco
  3. I believe that tls is experiencing the same "CD-read" problem I posted about on March 28. One of my disc drives is also a Pioneer (model DVR-115D). My other disc drive is a fairly new Atapi (model iHAP122 9). Both drives developed a "read" problem as soon as I updated to imgburn 2.5.1.0. My solution was to revert to imgburn 2.5.0.0 and the problem disappeared. This leads me to conclude that the problem is not with the hardware or the discs. Paul in San Francisco
  4. Apologies for not attaching the log file. Since I did already uninstall version 2.5.1.0, the log showing the problem has gone too. All I have now is the log for version 2.5.0.0, which shows no problems, but which you are welcome to look at if it is any help. Paul in San Francisco
  5. Yes, Lightning UK, my yahoo address is good to send anything you want to it. Paul in San Francisco
  6. The latest version of imgburn will not read a store-bought CD from either of my disc drives. It gets stuck analyzing track 10. I have Windows XP with the latest service packs and updates. I have reverted to the previous version of imgburn and everything is OK again. Apologies if my vocabulary is wrong, but I don't speak computerese very well.
