  2. true. I normally use imation and cursor dvdrs and cdrs Could you recommend some high quality dvds/cds? Thanks!
  3. Like I said, this is the second drive that throws the same errors, all the while ripping audio cds with EAC flawwlessly. Besides it's (almost) brand new, so I doubt the lens is dirty (I'll check the firmware issue though). Thanks for your suggestion!

  6. Hi! Everytime I verify a cd or dvd some errors pop up. At first I thought it was my burner dying so I went and bought another one. Then I read how overclocking could make writing cds difficult so I went and restored defaults on my mobo. Then I changed my media Brand (I'm using imations now). Finally I got fed up and decided to test my dvds on my player without paying attention to the errors thrown by imgburn. And it worked! The same for some audio/mp3 cds, an nLited windows disk I did, and some other software... all flooded with errors on imgburns verify and all working flawlessly when used. What could the problem be? I've got a Sony SATA burner and am using all default options on imgburn. If you need some more info let me know please. Thanks!
