I got the same error several times "tracking servo failure" on my PX-755A, I used it yesterday with same brand of media, and today I got that error, My solution was this: I used compressed air, and blowed into the recorder while the slide was out, then there was no "tracking servo failure" or any other error! I have burned a few DVD+R now without problems.
