Problem solved...it was the disks...ran out and got some new Verbatims(made in Singapore) works fine....THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already cleaned the drive...I can't believe it's the burner itself...only 2 yrs old...it is a new spindle of Verbs...maybe it's that...I was using DaemonTools to mount something and my system froze a few times..had to reboot...think that has any possible connection? It worked just fine a few days ago..
