Have you tried playing it in a different player other the the above mentioned? Maybe at a friends house, relative, neighbor, co-worker...etc.??

Thank you for your help everyone... my "new" Pioneer / LiteOn 118 burner does NOT like that brand of discs. The funny thing is I have an old Sony drive from 2001-2002 that burns that same brand no problem lol. You would think that newer optical drives could handle burning various CD-R brands Lightning UK - Thank you for creating ImgBurn!

After a reboot and inserting a new blank disc imgburn attempted to burn @ 24x and then got the error...
