  1. As I said I tried on different PCs and had the same results. The other PC recorder is a Samsung while this is a Lite-On. Seems strange it's a driver problem. However I tested lately my memory stick with memtest+ and had no problem at all. The problem seems to be related to this DVD+RW disc. At the moment I don't own other DVD+RW to test, so I was asking if anyone experienced such behaviors. Mirko
  2. Hi, I'm currently using latest version of IMGBurn 2.4.2.0 software to write a CentOS 5 ISO image on a rewritable support TDK DVD+RW single layer. I tried on different machines and I have the very same effect: BSOD and reboot when started writing. It doesn't behave this way when I use DVD+R or DVD-R supports. ISO image is 3.46GB (3.717.464.064 bytes) Here is what ImgBurn is reporting of writer and support. Format and erase works flawlessy. Any clue? thanks Mirko --------------------- LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-851S GS08 (ATAPI) Current Profile: DVD+RW Disc Information: Status: Complete Erasable: Yes Formatted: Yes Supported Write Speeds: 2,4x; 4x TOC Information: Session 1... -> Track 01 (Mode 1, LBA: 0 - 2295103) -> LeadOut (LBA: 2295104) Physical Format Information (Last Recorded): Disc ID: RICOHJPN-W11-01 Book Type: DVD+RW Part Version: 2 Disc Size: 120mm Maximum Read Rate: Not Specified Number of Layers: 1 Track Path: Parallel Track Path (PTP) Linear Density: 0.267 um/bit Track Density: 0.74 um/track First Physical Sector of Data Area: 196.608 Last Physical Sector of Data Area: 2.491.711 Last Physical Sector in Layer 0: 0 Current Format Capacity: Sectors: 2.295.104 Size: 4.700.372.992 bytes Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF) Preferred Format Capacity: Sectors: 2.295.104 Size: 4.700.372.992 bytes Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF) Maximum Format Capacity: Sectors: 2.295.104 Size: 4.700.372.992 bytes Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF)
