  1. That's what i tried because when I used L632D it only came up with desktop results. I know HP support is not always the best so if there is another way you think I can get the update I'm all ears. I hate to sound like such a newbie but I've never really done this kind of thing (yeah I know, that's what she said!!)
  2. Ok, I checked for the firmware update but there is none. I'm pretty sure that i had Verify enabled but I'll burn another jus in case. I'm kicking myself for buying the TDK crap instead of ordering Verbatim but oh well, next time. Thanks again.

  4. Ok I tried this and did it at 1X speed and again it said it worked. Now though if I leave the disc in the drive a long time (>5 minutes) it will eventually get past the "Logical unit is in process of becoming ready" and show the disc information that appears to be identical to the original disc. Now when I put in the original disc the information is shown within 30 seconds or so so I'm not sure if this is a problem or not. Unfortunately I don't have my vehicle here to test the back-up so until then i don't know if it has really worked or not. Thanks for your help though and it sounds like I may need to order some Verbatim discs.
  5. I'm trying to make a back-up of my Ford navigation disc 6P because I'm worried about only having the one in case something happens. I read the guide and copied it to my harddrive and then copied the MDS file to a TDK DVD+R Double Layer (only one my Office Depot had). Everything appeared to work and in about 38 minutes it said 100% complete and popped my drive open. Then I decided to see if it looked the same as the original so I put it back in the drive but it could never read it. Now I don't know what to do. Can anyone post the steps as to how to do this the right way? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
