You could use the new taskbar API to show a progress bar like in the 2nd image.

No, I really mean the taskbar. These images show the progress of copying files with explorer: The same happens when you download something with IE. It would be nice if imgburn could use this to show the progress of the burn process.

It already works on Windows 7. A valid and nice suggestion would be to make imgburn use the new taskbar to show the progress of the burning process. Of course, Windows 7 is still in the development stages so this probably won't be done until after RTM.
