  1. I'm not sure but I think I now understand:I was expecting dynamic burning. That means that I thought that it was possible to burn any file any time on the dvd as long as it doesn't exceed the capacity of the disc. But in reality,I can write only once the dvd.If I want to add something,I have to go through the whole burning process again. In other words,I can't add something to an already burnt dvd.I have to burn it again with the additional file. Could it be that I'm looking really for a dvd-ram drive ? @LIGHTNING UK: I would like that but every tutorial I read insists on the fact that you have to prepare "a cd with the drivers".Are you saying that there's some kind of elementary USB support when XP is freshly installed ? Many thanks to both of you for your patience.
  2. Thanks for the hand,Ian ! EDIT: just fed up.
  3. Hello, Fact:I never burnt anything in my life. Now I need to do it because I'm going to reformat and I need the drivers on a disc. I just bought 3 Verbatim dvd-rw 4x but each time I succeed burning a file,Imgburn displays "Ready (Discs needs erasing)" when I want to burn something else !!! I'm on XP/sp3,with an ASUS DRW-2014L1T 1.02.Sorry for the dry style but I'm just ready to burst. Can somebody help me,please ? Thank you.
  4. So I reinstalled ImgBurn after DvdD,and everything works fine ! Many thanks (And I sent you a MP).
  5. But,Lightning, did I reassociate all the files with DvdD when installing it after ImgBurn ?
  6. Hello, I just wanted to ask about a message related to DvdD that I received when I installed ImgBurn. What was it and is it important because I just can't remenber what it was ? For some unknown and irrational reason,I uninstalled DvdD a while ago but now I want it back.It is now installed and seems to work and coexist well (?) but there must be a reason why Lightning UK created a message if you installed ImgBurn AFTER DvdD. I hope it makes sense...Thank you for your answers
