  1. The 6x speed is very often the real joke with some burners. Try 8x instead. Thanks for the tip the dvd+R played for a minute and then the disc could not be read. So I used maxwell dvd-r and wrote it at 8X speed and wola! I can play to my hearts desire and don't need to worry about my 2yr old destroying the original disc now that I have a backup! I'm still going to get verbatim dvd-r as I see a lot of people recommend it for its quality and reliabilty. Thanks again to mmalves and cynthia for your quick responses and helping me put the pieces of the puzzle together.
  2. Ok I will try again with a new disc, man I hate making coasters. I wish there was a fool proof way to do this with out making coasters. I've used these discs with other image burns but it seems that when I try to burn ISO's this happens. I'll have to order some verbatim's next time. Update: I tried it again with a new disc and it worked. I guess you win some, you lose some. LOL
  3. Ok, I'm trying to burn an ISO file onto dvd+r and I'm receiving and error I/O message. I click try again and still this message shows.
