  1. You're using rewritables (DVD-RW or DVD+RW) and they just aren't as good as write once media (DVD-R or DVD+R).

Not only that, the DVD-RW you're using has a RITEK dye and that's awful at the best of times!

Get some decent Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R / DVD+R and you should be ok.

    Thanks for the reply.

LIGHTNING UK!, would something like these be a good choice and a solution to this error?

Also is there any way to clean a dvd-/+r disc incase i do make a mistake?

Again, thanks for all your help.

  2. Thanks for the replys.

mmalves - do you mean egor147s idea is not a solution to this problem?

LIGHTNING UK! - by that do you mean try a different disc to burn it onto instead of dvd-rw?

Again, sorry if this is a stupid question but i have been stuck for a couple of days now and i just really want to get this done.

  3. Please post the full log of that burn (you can find the logs at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).

Ive had a lot of problems trying to burn dvds on this new computer and i have been trying for a couple of days now without any success, i am new to doing it.

Sorry if this has been posted before and i didnt see it or if it is a somewhat stupid question, but hopefully someone can help me out with my error, thanks a lot for looking.

    Edit-

Looking at it again i have been told it could be a hardware problem..
