  1. It has the funky extension of m2ts. It has no export function. It came with software that lets you view it on the computer, but you gotta pay for Canon's converter if you want to burn to DVD. Those cheeky bastards!

    No.

ImgBurn doesn't convert anything so if you want a DVD Video disc you need to have DVD Video files (i.e. a VIDEO_TS folder).

Doesn't that software have an 'export' button or anything? What's the actual file extension of the files you DO have?

  2. Hello-

I've done Google searches and searches throughout the ImgBurn forum, but haven't found the answer to my problem.

My girlfriend has a Canon HD100 camcorder. We are able to easily copy the videos to her computer (Windows XP) and play them using Canon's proprietary software. However, she wants to be able to burn them to DVD so she can share them with others, but we can't find anyway to do so, as they are not in ISO or VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS formats.

Is there a way for ImgBurn to grab the Canon files and burn them to DVD so they can be seen and played on normal DVD players?

    Thanks,

    -Steve
